In 2019 Playford Colleges hopes to seek registration to operate from Reception to Year 12 from 2020. If successful, the College will seek to implement Years 10, 11 and 12 in 2020.
Playford College is registered to operate classes from Reception to Year 9. In the Primary Years, Playford aims to provide each student with the skills needed for effective, lifelong learning. Considerable thought, planning and evaluation has been invested to achieve this through a well-defined curriculum. While not precluding change, care is taken that change does not occur for change’s sake. There are key processes and content areas that remain permanently valuable, although the way of presenting them can, and sometimes must, be adapted. We live in a rapidly changing technological society and learning also involves using means not available to previous generations.
Ongoing assessment provides educators with the data needed to ensure that students are equipped to proceed to the next level of education. Careful attention is given to each student to ensure that they are presented with a range of teaching techniques that suit their style of learning.
In 2018 it introduced the Middle school and operates Years 7 and 8. Year 9 will be added to the Middle school in 2019.
